A Minute In My Mind

A Minute In My Mind is a series of self portraits reflecting the life of someone living with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression and PTSD. The series was shot at a time where, due to these problems, I was struggling to understand myself and not truly allowing myself to accept that I was bisexual, despite having come out 6 months earlier.
The portraits reflect a lot of the complex emotions someone like myself might go through, not just on a weekly, or daily basis, but in moments, instants and how reflect quickly they can change.
This series is conveying both denial and acceptance, the easy, happy moments and the awful, scary ones too.

The project was orignally constructed in 2022, I was later diagnosed with ADHD which looking back at these photographs has helped me to understand why I couldn’t understand so much of myself. I am feeling a great sense of clarirty and relief having finally gotten the answers I was looking for.

Photography and Illusion

A moon made of chalk, paperclip trees, painted ice cream and pencils that fall forever;
Photography and Illusion is a series of images created to look like something else, so be careful where you step and welcome in.
